The Idle Rich Returns.
A presentation by Leo Rich ARPS, EFIAP, DPAGB, APAGB. Leo returns with a talk on a miscellany of subjects seen through his quirky eye. Some of you may recall that Leo previously showed us some amazing aerial photos taken by his grandfather in the First World War; and just a few of his own images - enough to whet our appetite for more.

A presentation by Mike Birbeck FRPS. Mike is President of the Disabled Photographers Society and will talk on his accomplishments and describe some of his designs for camera adaptation's for disabled photographers.

Shooting in the dark !
A presentation by Keith Robbins. Keith “the plumber” Robbins will provide a lively discussion on taking photo-graphs of bright objects in low-ambient light conditions. This will be followed by a practical session outside in the car park. Bring your cameras, tripods and warm clothing. This will provide the groundwork for the Members Photo Challenge - 'Fireworks' on 3rd Dec. See below.

Event Photography.
A presentation by Rex Witts. Rex is a professional photographer who specialises in event photography. His recent clients include equestrian events, horse trials, motor meeting and corporate events. Rex will provide an interesting discussion on the life of an event photographer along with numerous examples of his work and plenty of helpful and useful tips and tricks for you to adopt to improve your own photographs. Rex will also bring along his equipment and provide a demonstration of what happens at an event from taking the photos to printing the finished article.!

A presentation by Tony Worobiec. Tony's images are in many photographic magazines, and he also writes regularly on black and white dark room techniques - with several published books to his name.

A presentation by Mike Phillips. Club member Mike will discuss RAW and JPEG formats and conversion along with related Photoshop techniques.

Sports Action/ProShow Gold.
Double feature ! The first session will be a talk on Sports Photography by a club member. This will give members some ideas for the Members Photo Challenge on 'Action' on 1st April 2009. The second session will be a tutorial by a club member on the use of the ProShow Gold application.
